A little surprise arrived in the mail recently when I learned that my work as colorist on the film Ocean Odyssey for the Smithsonian Institution was recognized by the Studio Group's Screen Genius Awards.

Ocean Odyssey opened in the fall of 2008 when the Smithsonian Institution opened the Sant Ocean Hall in the National Museum of Natural History. The $90 million dollar permanent exhibit features the film projected on eight screens wrapping 270º around the upper bay of the hall. It was a great experience working on the project and a lovely surprise to receive this two years later.
