Co-Directed and Post-Produced the independent feature film Bokeh, managing the finishing from audio mix at Skywalker Sound, to color grade, through delivery to Screen Media Films.

Bokeh premiered in competition at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival and was released theatrically in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, Toronto, and San Francisco. The film is currently available on iTunes, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Google Play, and On-Demand.

Production

Principal photography took place entirely on location in Iceland.
Collaborated on post-production with teams in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, and Denver.
Coordinated the producing and directing teams in three time zones throughout post-production and release.

Reception

Selected for The Gotham’s (formerly IFP) Feature Narrative Lab.
Nominated for the Panavision Spirit Award for Independent Cinema at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
Premiered in the Top 50 films on iTunes opening weekend.

Produced spotlight story on USCF Hospital’s connected healthcare platform.
Worked tightly with Salesforce marketing and film departments.
Coordinated hospital staff, crew, and Salesforce executives for location shoot at UCSF hospital.

Reception

UCSF: The Connected Hospital premiered at Salesforce’s annual Dreamforce show and conference.
The profile was the marquee piece for the UCSF / Salesforce partnership announcement.

Produced the first ever HDR live stream in DOLBY ATMOS+VISION for the Dolby Summit, a live online gathering of the content distribution, media, and entertainment industries.


Production

Worked tightly with Dolby technology to ensure live HDR stream in Rec.2020 and 7.1.4 ATMOS sound.
Produced virtual shoots with musicians and executives, ensuring HDR capture for deliverables for the DOLBY Summit App on Apple TV.
Showcased case studies from HBO’s Westworld and the musician Fantastic Negrito.

Reception

The Summit was the flagship event for Dolby marketing.
The event was the cornerstone of the Dolby initiative to bring ATMOS mastering to the music industry.
Launched Dolby initiative to bring Dolby Vision HDR to sports broadcasting.

Feature Film

Produced the feature film I Don’t Want To Drink Your Blood Anymore (2023). Developed script with writer/director, on-set producer in Massachusetts, key post-producer in Philadelphia.

Miki Ishikawa (The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, The Terror) Sierra McCormick (American Horror Stories, The Vast Of Night) and Nick Sagar (Princess Switch, Run The World) star in the indie drama-horror from writer/director Andrew Sullivan.


LOGLINE

The film follows Eiko (Miki Ishikawa), a vampire suffering from agoraphobia caused by the trauma on the night her family was murdered and she was turned. Unable and unwilling to leave her family’s home, she not only loses track of time, but time itself. Eiko spends most of her life trying not to be a vampire, trying not to engage with others, but the world won’t leave her alone.

Production

Produced COVID protocol, four-week shoot in Massachusetts, coordinating crew and talent in three cities in winter/spring 2022.
Post-production in Philadelphia.
Set for release Fall 2023.
